ICE Provides Site Work for New Concourse

(Story submitted by Doug Hambrecht, Tampa) Allegiant Air has a new concourse at the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport where ICE was responsible for performing the civil site work during the design phase. The $11.4 million project includes a single-story, 34,000-square-foot facility that houses loading gates, TSA public security check points, TSA supervisory office, hold rooms, concessions, and airline offices. Project Manager, Doug Hambrecht and his team Mike Allen, Hamed Jafarian and Amr Mansour provided engineering services for the project. A celebration was held Monday, Sept. 19, 2022 with the airline’s Senior Vice President of Airport and Government affairs, Okaloosa County Commissioner, other county officials, airport staff, and community leaders.
