WTS South Carolina Transportation Trailblazers Event

Columbia, SC

The Women Transportation Seminar (WTS) South Carolina Chapter hosted its 3rd Annual Transportation Trailblazers Event last month at the Columbia Museum of Art, featuring three transportation leaders who shared their insights on the industry.

Renee Mulholland (Senior Environmental Planner | Charleston, SC) attended the event and had an excellent time networking with South Carolina’s transportation leaders and industry professionals.

The featured speakers for this event included:

  • Kristin White | Chief Counsel, Federal Highway Administration
  • Christy Hall | Secretary of Transportation, SCDOT
  • Emily Lawton | SC Division Administrator, FHWA

HCTRA “All Lanes Open” Procurement Conference

Houston, TX

The Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) hosted an “All Lanes Open” business session earlier this month in Houston, Texas.

ICE’s Darshan Padmanabha, P.E., PTOE (Senior Traffic Engineer | Houston, TX), Khader Abu Al-Eis, P.E., PMP (Vice President – CM/CEI (Major Projects) | Austin, TX), and Ahmad Akl, P.E., PMP (Project Manager (CQAM) | Houston, TX) attended the session. HCTRA’s Executive Director, Roberto Trevino, P.E. and team delivered exciting updates about upcoming projects and opportunities.

The Harris County Toll Road Authority’s (HCTRA) mission is to responsibly operate and maintain a safe, reliable, sustainable, and evolving mobility system that meets the diverse connectivity needs of all Harris County residents.
