This project includes constructing a new roundabout-controlled diamond interchange (overpass bridge) located east of the existing weigh station on I-16 and realigning and widening Old Cuyler Road and Cuyler Road over I-16 from two lanes to four lanes with a 10′ raised median. A new bridge is being constructed with four lanes, two 12′ lanes for northbound traffic and two 12′ lanes for southbound traffic, separated by a 10′ raised median and a 6.5′ pedestrian sidewalk on either side. The project limits begin east of the I-16 Frontage Road from US 280/SR 30 to near CR 11/Jernigan Road (P.I. No. 0019452), where Cuyler Road will tie into the Frontage Road. The total project length is approximately 4.1 miles.
