ICE offers pavement engineering solutions ranging from pavement evaluation (using FWD and GPR) to designing new or rehabilitated pavement and developing pavement management systems. ICE’s Pavement Engineers have expertise in pavement evaluation and design for both the flexible (HMA) and rigid (PCC and RCC) pavements. They are well-versed in the latest aviation, port and heavy industrial and highway pavement design including the use and application of AASHTO 1972, 1993 and Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG) procedures, as well as a host of highway, airfield, port and heavy industrial pavement software including TxDOT FPS-21, TxDOT CRCP-ME, AASHTO MEPDG, LEDFAA, FAARFIELD, PCASE, RCCPAVE, PCAPAVE, AIRPAVE, and other Layered Elastic Design (LED) pavement design software / procedures.

Additionally, ICE can provide additional expertise in performance of pavement value engineering and life cycle cost analysis during the planning, procurement or post-award phase on projects with significant paving quantities.
