Position Summary
Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, PLLC is seeking Highway and Bridge Construction Inspectors for South Carolina. Candidate will be responsible for necessary inspection services for earthwork and base, asphalt, foundations, concrete, structures, erosion, traffic, and other construction related items as dictated by the project. Responsibilities also include daily inspection reports and other inspection related forms as directed by a Project Engineer.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Licensed to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable state law.
• High school graduate.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Knowledge of mathematical functions including geometry and trigonometry
• Proficient in MS Office

• General Engineering /Civil Engineering Experience
• Asphalt Roadway Technician
• Earthwork and Base Technician
• Foundations Technician
• Portland Cement Concrete Technician
• Coarse Aggregate Technician
• HMA Level 1,2 & 3 Quality Control Technician
• Pavement Preservation Technician
• CEPSCI Technician
• Work Zone Traffic Control Inspector

Supervisory Responsibility
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
The position works outdoors in all weather conditions.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 60 lbs.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work include days, nights and weekends as dictated by the assigned project schedule.

Travel Requirements
Daily travel required to applicable job site(s). Company vehicle will be provided.
