Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Position Summary
Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, PLLC is seeking a Mid-Level Water Resource Engineer able to perform design and plan preparation for roadway drainage; hydrological studies, storm water management plans, and assisting other Project Engineers/Managers as necessary.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience with hands on design of transportation projects.
  • SCDOT drainage practice and design experience required
  • Experience preparation of storm drainage design, storm water management, erosion control, bridge and culvert modeling as well as FEMA type flood studies.
  • Candidates should have a working knowledge of HECRAS, HY8, Geopak Drainage or other similar type programs.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in Micro Station is a prerequisite.
  • Candidate must have proven analytical skills.

Supervisory Responsibility
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

The position operates in a professional office environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm. Occasional work after hours may be required.

Travel Requirements
Travel is primarily to the position’s primary office location. Travel may be required from time to time to other company locations if needs arise.
