Project Manager – Charleston, South Carolina

Location: Charleston, South Carolina

Position Summary
Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, PLLC is seeking a Project Manager with duties that include project pursuits and execution, project management, development and maintenance of schedules and budgets, project coordination, roadway design and plan preparation, establishing and maintaining client relations, and fee negotiations.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience with hands on design of transportation projects.
  • SCDOT practice and design experience required.
  • BSCE from ABET accredited engineering program.
  • SC Registered Professional Engineer or ability to become licensed within 6 months is required.
  • Candidate must be capable of working on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Applicant must be highly proficient in design and plan preparation using Geopak and Microstation
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Supervisory Responsibility
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
The position operates in a professional office environment.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm. Occasional work after hours may be required.

Travel Requirements
Travel is primarily to the position’s primary office location. Travel may be required from time to time to other company locations if needs arise.
