Harbor River Bridge Replacement Featured in ASPIRE Magazine

As the only means for vehicular transportation from the mainland to Harbor Island, Hunting Island, and Fripp Island, the Harbor River Bridge (U.S. Route 21 over Harbor River) in Beaufort County, S.C., is an important transportation link. The original swing-span bridge over a tidal waterway and navigable channel was in poor condition and required replacement.
